What to Do if Your Apartment or Employer is Not Offering Recycling

Apartment buildings and businesses that have fewer than 100 tenants or employees or are outside of the City limits are not REQUIRED to provide recycling service. If there is no onsite recycling, employees and tenants can take advantage of recycling drop off locations.

You can encourage the management to start offering recycling by letting them know how important it is to you. If they do not want to provide recycling service or cannot afford it, you may want to look for an apartment that does offer recycling when your lease comes up.
